Wine Diva is the most comprehensive wine portal in Australia. The site, designed for both wine consumers and wine professionals, averages over 180,000 visitor sessions per month. Wine Diva was one of the first wine sites in Australia to be database driven, giving users the benefit of browse, keyword search and advanced search facilities. The site includes wine editorial, directory listings, online bookshop and online wine buying tool. Development of the site has involved a wide range of activities from usability studies, information architecture, graphic design, software integration, classification, indexing and content production. www.winediva.com.au
Indexat project managed classification, metadata creation, indexing
and thesaurus construction for Telstra's intranet. The project was part
of a major re-design and restructure of the intranet. Indexat managed
a consortium of three companies. The new search facilities developed
by Indexat was integral to reducing search times on the intranet and
led to improved efficiencies. The project team led by Indexat came in
on budget and time.
Developed web site for wine barrel maufacturer who has offices in France, USA and Australia.

The TAFE centre for Vocational Education and Training was formerly called
VEAC. Indexat undertook to re-design the information architecture (IA)
for VEAC. The project resulted in a web site for the organisation that
provided a greatly improved user experience. This project was finished
on time and on budget.
Design and implementation of computerised indexing and lending system for Worksafe's extensive audio visual collection, consisting in the main of still photographs. The project included database design, indexing 6,500 images, data entry supervision and staff training.
Contract for the design of a classification scheme for products and services produced in Australia. The classification formed the basis of an information service aimed at providing Australian companies with targeted and timely information on export opportunities.
Contract to develop a bibliographic database incorporating all information mediums held by the Centre using Pro-Cite software. Staff were trained to use the system and a procedures manual was written.
